Artists:
+10 Acid Crew
http://www.myspace.com/plusten
+10 Acid Crew is one of the most popular alternative electronic music producers
in the UK. Many dedicated listeners revere his Acid and IDM as the best new music
in these genres. He is private and reclusive, and doesn’t like to share
information about himself with the public.
Acid Elf
http://www.myspace.com/acidelf
Acid Elf is Aelfric Michael Avery, an alien who first appeared on earth when he
crashed his UFO in downtown Chicago in the mid 80s. Discerning listeners recognize
the Acid Elf as one of the best Acid producers in the scene. He is +10’s best mate.
His hard driving and dancey, head-bashing party music is also uniquely innovative,
deep and meaningful, like his mellow funky analog beats. His music is always pure
Acid, and is produced on vintage analog synths and drum machines -- mostly Roland
x0x boxes such as the TB-303 and its relatives. He has several releases on Napalm
Enema Records.
Andromede
http://www.myspace.com/androymede
Andromede is a collaboration between two electronic artists: Lastra Pink and Q
Squared. They produce and perform progressive electronic music for the dance-
floor, combining elements from various musical genres, both electronic and
acoustic. Influences include Jungle, Electronica, Pink Floyd, Gipsy Music, Break-
Beat and Electro resulting in a unique musical journey enhanced by live visual
projections. Their performances consist of various audio-visual manipulations
with laptops, controllers, effects and sometimes collaboration with musicians
and singers. Andromede began producing in Bristol (UK) 2006, performing at
various local nights such as Plummet, Boggle, Ruffneck Diskotek and Glitch Night.
They went on to perform for wider audiences at legends in Manchester, Rock Paper
Scissor in Berlin and Hasenland also in Berlin. In 2007, Andromede relocated to
Venezuela to concentrate on their live act and record an EP. They perform monthly
at Electro night Rhapsody in the suburbs of Caracas.

Arkanoid
Arkanoid (Belgium) had always been in touch with music ever since his father
dj'd at several clubs and parties in the first half of the eighties. During his
studying years in Ghent, he soon got mindraped by the organic sounds of the 303.
Starting out dj’ing in the backroom of small clubs, he got together with some
friends to form the non-profit organisation Krank Kartell. The X-parties in
Nieuwpoort and Oostende were a fact: a series of 8 acid parties from '98 'till
'02.
Motivated by the fact that a lot of labels were more concerned with
numbers and
sales than with music, Arkanoid started out his own label with Mr. Gasmask:
Binary Bassline Records. A Belgium-based acid label that tries to release good
music of all kinds, but never without the 303. http://www.binarybassline.com
Besides releases on his own label, Binary Bassline Records, Arkanoid released on
Zodiak Commune, Acid Jack, Napalm Enema Recordings, and the near future tends to
bring out
several more.
His dj-sets always are a symbiosis between the modernistic acid
techno, the early
90s bassline stompers and the mid-90's acid trance anthems. Live performing and
recent producing has brought him to make deep, solid, multibassline tracks, with
angelic strings stressing the enlightenment of what acid music really is: Music
for the gods.
Artists Arkanoid shared the bill with: Woody McBride, Damon Wild,
Mike Dred, Rob
Acid, Danny Casseau, Egebamyasi, Chris Liberator, Aaron Liberator, Dave the
Drummer, Gizelle, Hardfloor, Random XS, Dr.Fernando, G-Force, Phuture 303, Lawrie
Immersion, Mike Paradinas, Luke Vibert, Acid Junkies and many many more in
countries as Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, UK, Scotland, Finland…
Computer Controlled
http://myspace.com/computer_controlled
Computer Controlled is a guy named Larry. He’s also known as Acid Hazard, DJ
AcidTed, and DJ Frantik. Like Acid music itself, Larry was born in the Midwest.
Since 1993 he has DJ’d and done Live PA, bringing Acid to the masses while
working relentlessly on his Acid creations in the studio. Now standing alongside
his long-time idols such as Woody McBride and Hyperactive, Larry has made a
major contribution to Midwest Electronic Music.
The Computer Controlled Acid music is with a wide array of famous vintage analog
and/or digital synths and drum machines such as the TB-303, SH-101, TR-707,
Jomox XBase 09, and Roland JX-3P, to name but a few pieces from the impressive
arsenal that is his fully equipped hardware studio. Decadent though his music and
gear is, his humility shows through in that he doesn’t feel he is able to write
about himself, and wouldn’t feel comfortable doing so.
Larry was a part of Cybertonix, the smart bar that served smart drinks at all
the first Raves in the Midwest, including Drop Bass’ parties and Woody McBride’s
parties. Computer Controlled has released music (including vinyl) internationally
on the labels Acid Revolt Unit, Urbanground Records, Primal Instinct Recordings
and Napalm Enema Recordings. He has collaborated with Poor Boy Rich as ‘Acid
Pranksters’ and with PacoDebongo as ‘Acid Hazard.’ He did a remix for long time
Acid pioneer Ege Bam Yasi, and he will be appearing on a mix CD that Woody
McBride is doing for Aciiieeed Records. This inspired Midwest Acid legend is
constantly making music, so watch out for him live and for his many new projects
and releases!
Delayscape
http://www.myspace.com/delayscape
Melodic electro from Copenhagen, Denmark. Analogue and digital synths and drum
machines put in the service of synthetic, often melancholy electronic music.
Delayscape has released on various netlabels: acrylik, clusterflux, cold room,
musicartistry and monotonik. Delayscape was once part of Danish ambient electro
act Swimwear
Catalogue. He also plays in the industrial
band Rainscape.
Electrokinesia
Electrokinesia is the music of Aelfric Michael Avery. Aelfric defines his
Electrokinesia music as “IDM, melodic, experimental, jungle, ambient or made with
samples on a computer.” He’s been regularly playing live all around British
Columbia, Canada since early 2006 and is considered a pioneer of innovative dance
music in BC. He has released music on a number of labels including Napalm Enema
Records, Audio Aubergine, Future Comp, Infinityloop Music and others.
FaltyDL
http://www.myspace.com/faltydl
FaltyDL is Drew Lustman of New York. He makes tunes all day, everyday. Most of
them are shit, but every-once in a while... Yeah! So he does his thing by day
and then another thing by night. He thinks a lot, maybe too much even. But one
thing is sure, he fits in here at Napalm. We are more then happy to release his
tunes under any moniker he happens to chose at the moment. He likes orange
juice with lots of pulp, a steak cooked medium rare, and even the occasional back
rub. In fact in New York he has been known to go from massage parlor to massage
parlor seeking the perfect rub down. He wrote this.
Justin Case
Justin Case is the most reclusive producer in the world. He’s so reclusive that
he doesn’t have a website, or even a myspace account. There are no pictures of
him. He doesn’t even have an email. He doesn’t talk on the phone, or meet with
anyone in person. All communication with Mr. Case is conducted through a
carrier-muskrat. We almost killed the damn thing the first time he contacted us,
but we saw the message shaved into it’s back just before we got the harpoon
loaded, thank goodness. In truth, Justin Case is an eccentric multi-millionaire
who got his millions from his mother, the famous Irish Country and Western star
Patti O'dores. When Justin found out how well Napalm Enema was doing, he asked if
he could release an album with us so that if he ever loses his fortune, he’ll
still be financially okay.
Luke Skywalker
http://www.myspace.com/lukeskywalkerwan
This epic hero needs no introduction! Son of the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker,
Luke will save the galaxy from the Dark Side by turning his father back to the
light side of the Force using his light-saber of innovative braindance music.
His music has appeared on Maryanne Hobbs's Radio One Breezeblock, and he has
released his music on Napalm Enema Records. Luke is here to rescue us.
Mrs Jynx
http://www.myspace.com/mrsjynx
Mrs Jynx is from Manchester. She loves mushroom soup, crisps, cheese and music.
She makes the most beautiful and moving ambient music, which is pure genius.
She is one of the top electronica producers in the UK. She seems mostly
unconcerned with the BS of the music industry. Her album “The Standoffish Cat"
will be released on Planet Mu Records on June 2nd 2008. Napalm Enema Records is
proud to be the first label to release music by Mrs Jynx in hardcopy and on vinyl.
Matthew Yee-King
Matthew Yee-King is an electronic musician and a drummer. He is part of Bavin,
which is a two man live electronica improv. He also plays in YeeSP which is an
electroacoustic improvisational trio. Yee-King remixed a track on Squarepusher’s
“Maximum Priest” EP on Warp Records. His album “SuperUser” was released on
Rephlex Records. He has also released music on Bug Klinik, Trash Records and
Mille Plateau Records. His remix of FaltyDL’s Rapidly Harvested Asparagus was
released on the “FaltyDL’s Asparagus Harvesters” EP on Napalm Enema Records.
Monolog X
"Jesus, Johan...who'd want to make 'acid house'? That's so played out. I'm
disgusted. Your songs all suck particularly hard. Do not continue. "
- Steve Shaw - 2006
Maybe Johan Eriksson-Degerlund should have followed his friend
Steve's advice,but
as a result of not doing so, he became Monolog X; a composer of Sonic Fiction In
The Key Of Acid. He graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK in 2007
with a first class degree, so he is obviously a middle-class-wanker. His mustache
is his ever so faithful companion. Together they explore the landscape of acid
territory and try to re-territorialize it somehow. Monolog X is not a 'smiley
face'. He is a 'porno-tashed face' from the arctic circle with plenty of
recreational time to spend on vintage synths and drum machines. However, this he
does very well. According to himself he produces contemporary entertainment and
he calls it Sonic Fiction In The Key Of Acid!
Paul Blackford
http://www.myspace.com/pblackford
Paul Blackford grew up in the early nineties at the peak of the Rave/Acid House
era. During this time he was copying mix tapes that his older brother brought
home from raves and listening to them. After a couple of years of listening to
these tapes and buying records on Shut Up And Dance, Impact, Network and various
other labels Paul found a demo of a music sequencing program on an amiga magazine
cover disk and started creating his own tunes. After saving up enough money he
brought a Yamaha QY70 and starting playing live sets using the portable
sequencer. Towards the end of the nineties Paul formed the Uncanny X-squad with
college friends (Method) Mel France and Tom(sk) Putnam and the trio started
putting on illegal parties in south London. In 2002 Paul struck a deal with Ed
DMX's label, Breakin' and his first EP entitled '1991' was released in February
2003. The EP was created using a Pentium II computer that Paul found in a skip
outside some offices and a copy of Fruity Loops, proving that you don't need
expensive equipment to make music. The EP fused the unmistakable sounds of old-
skool rave, 8-bit computer sounds and incredibly fierce sub-bass. The Breakin'
press release described it as being "like Aux 88 locked in a suburban UK bedroom
with a few Dream FM tapes from 1992." While Kudos Records classed it as a
pioneering new UK Bass sound. Paul has released further material on Audio
Aubergine, Base Logic, Breakin’, Delta 9 Plastics, Digital Distortions, WeMe
Records, WIDE and also library music for television on BMG Zomba.
Red Vortical Stripes
http://www.myspace.com/afxacid89
Red Vortical Stripes is Alexander S.S. He was born in Saint Petersburg (Russia)
in 1986. At 8 years old he started to play the piano. At 15 years old he really
fell in love with classical music. L. Van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin,
P. Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Edward Grieg and especially Iohann Bach are
his most favorite classic composers.
When he was about 17 years old, he heard the works of Richard D. James,
especially the album Druqks. This album changed the way he sees. From that day
he began learning different music styles, especially IDM, Electro, Experimental
and Acid. The gear that he loves include: SH-101, MC-202, TB-303, TR-808, TR-606,
TR-909, TR-707, TR-727, EML-400/401, Fenix Modular Synthesizer, MC-4.
Rob Kidley
Mr. Kidley is without question one of the best producers known in modern times.
When he's not skinning kangaroos in the out back or courting the Acid Elf, or
inquiring as to whether or not every anonymous artist on myspace is a "Shiela,"
he can be found doing secret things we can't tell you because that would reveal
his identity, which is something he does not want. So there.

Rudy Buttignol
Rudy is the Founding Father of Napalm Enema Records. He was born as an embryo at
7 weeks after conception. His mother had been drinking heavily when he was
conceived, and where at 7 weeks Rudy should have had a slightly distinguished
head and body, black eyes and the beginning of limbs, he was only a transparent
blob the size and shape of one of those old-fasioned mints your grandma always had
on her coffee table. His mother miscarried into the toilet, then fished him out,
tore open the reddish brown sack he was in (for which he was named Rudy) and pulled
out the blob. She took the blob in for testing, and the doctor secretly put the
blob in a special incubator full of acids that allowed the blob to live and grow to
maturity. To keep Rudy alive during incubation the doctor had to constantly play
Acid music inside the incubator because it was the only music with a varied enough
frequency spectrum to stimulate the growth process (this is the secret to growing
people from miscarried embryos). The Acid had an unexpected effect on Rudy: it
caused him to grow to full adulthood in a couple month's time. He was born in
February 2007 and in collaboration with his doctor, Richard D. James, and his father,
Aelfric Michael Avery, started Napalm Enema Records on April 22 2007.
Because of
Rudy's unusual birth, and the nature of his doctor, Rudy is an Acid mutant. He has
six fingers on his right hand which were each interfaced with the 6 small control
knobs on a TB-303. His left hand has 4 fingers which are interfaced with the 4 large
control knobs on the 303. His right foot has 7 toes which are interfaced with the 7
buttons on the right of the 303, and his left foot has 4 toes which are interfaced
with the left buttons on the 303. The 13 note buttons on the 303 are interfaced with
his 13 penises. Rudy is the first half human half TB-303 Cyborg. Impressive.
Rudy can control the TB-303 directly with his mind and can make better Acid music than
anyone on the planet. Since he is half TB-303, he can also recognize the best Acid
music better than anyone. All Napalm Enema demos are brought before Rudy for approval
or denial. As a mutant, Rudy also has unnatural abilities to tolerate things such as
hot sauces and hot peppers of all varieties. He can eat so many hot peppers that his
ass will literally be on fire, and he still won't stop. He likes to eat hot peppers the
whole time he while he makes Acid music. So now you understand why the label is called
Napalm Enema Records. All music released on the label must be so hot that it is able to
give the listener a Napalm Enema, Rudy Buttignol style.

Telluric
http://www.myspace.com/telluricbeing
Telluric is Michael Stephens, who has been making music for over 10 years by all
manner of methods, in all manner of styles. In 2003 he was joint winner in Future
Music’s Luke Vibert remix competition, tied with “Tahnaiya Russell” later
discovered to be Richard D. James (aka Aphex Twin). The remix was of
‘Sci-Fi Staircase’ which can be found on the ‘Sorry I Make You Lush’ LP. Napalm
Enema Records is proud to be first to release the music of this talented producer.

Avery Monarch
Avery Monarch was a strange, quiet character hanging out in the shadows of
warehouses, underground venues and the Odyssey Imports record store in Vancouver
BC in the early 90s. He listened, he heard, he understood. One of his good
friends, Rob Dickson of the early 90s industrial group DEPROGRAMMERS got a part in
a movie in India and left his sampler, sequencer and drum machine with Avery
Monarch, who promptly used it to produce 3 albums, which were released shortly
thereafter.
